FINANCE ASSISTANT

OTT are now offering an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to work in a dynamic industry, supporting financial activities within our small but growing team.

  • • Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, such as invoices, payments, and expense claims.

    • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile bank statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve financial issues.

    • Fixed asset reconciliation

    • Coordinate with other internal departments, to gather data.

    • Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT Returns.

  • • Proficient in the use of Excel

    • Excellent attention to detail, and accurate handling of numerical data.

    •. Solid organisational and time management abilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    •. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

    •. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and confidentiality.

    •. Previous experience in finance and/or in a safety-critical industry is a plus but is not essential, as is experience of Xero accounting software.
