As we reflect on a successful 2024, On Track Technicians continues to make an impact across the railway industry.
We’ve expanded into Scotland with DJ Civil Engineering, supported Translink through major projects, and celebrated the dedication of our apprentices, contributing over 12,000 hours to key infrastructure works.
We rose to the challenge during Storm Eowyn, with 54 employees covering 91 shifts, maintaining safety and efficiency across the Translink network. We’re also proud to launch our 2025 Capability Document, showcasing our expertise and services.
Additionally, our team is championing health and well-being with four certified Health Champions and planning for a fantastic 5th Annual OTT Charity Golf Day.

On Track Technicians have kicked off 2025 with momentum, reflecting on a fantastic 2024 filled with challenges, successes, and growth. From supporting Irish Rail over the holidays to securing Translink Framework 111, investing in cutting-edge technology with our new Flash Butt Welder, and launching our updated 2024 Capability Document, we’re committed to innovation and excellence.
We’ve also had inspiring conversations on Rail People, Rail Chat and proudly hosted the Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering Sectoral Partnership, reinforcing our dedication to industry collaboration. A huge thank you to our incredible team—here’s to another year of progress and success!

This quarter, we gained valuable insights into the rail industry during our visit to InnoTrans 2024 in Berlin. We warmly welcomed our new apprentices and celebrated key achievements, including being awarded Translink Framework 111 and completing boundary fencing at the Derriaghy platform for ADMAN GROUP.
Our commitment to safety and quality continues with ongoing Training on Track Hand Back for our staff.
